Assignment Project Overview:
This project involves selecting a struggling brand and developing a strategic campaign to revitalize its perception and success.

Observation & Opportunity Statement:

Observation - GameStop is seen as an unneeded step in gaming. The stores are expensive, irrelevant, and a relic of the past.

Opportunity - Leverage the knowledge offered by employees and in-store experience as a value by including it in gameplay and giving people a reason to return to brick-and-mortar locations.

Process:
To address GameStop's outdated image, I conducted thorough research, interviewing employees and gamers, and analyzing forums and social media threads. I identified the opportunity to leverage employee expertise and immersive in-store experiences. By developing concepts that integrated these strengths into gameplay, I aimed to create exclusive benefits and events to attract gamers back to physical stores. After refining the best ideas, I crafted a strategic campaign with a compelling narrative, professionally presenting a solution to rejuvenate GameStop’s brand and effectively engage the target audience.

Role and Responsibilities:
As the Lead Strategist and Executor for the GameStop Brand Revival Campaign, I conducted comprehensive research, developed and refined innovative concepts, crafted a strategic plan with a compelling narrative, executed the entire campaign, and delivered a professional-quality presentation.

Reflection:
Initially, I viewed GameStop as outdated. Through research and engagement with employees and gamers, I discovered its potential. This project emphasized the importance of innovative thinking and strategic planning. Developing and executing the campaign enhanced my skills in strategic communication and creative problem-solving, transforming my understanding of GameStop's role in the gaming industry.
